While normally the roads and paths along the Georgia and South Carolina coastline tend to be full of green lively vegetation there are places and times you should seek to avoid.
Be mindful if you ever find yourself driving towards Edisto Island on SC Route 174 at night and make sure you don't take any wrong turns.
One of the many winding old roads that you my discover is Lochs Trail. Foolishly this pathway was carved hundreds of years ago by settlers who were warned not to travel through those particular swampland trees.
It's said that on that road your car's electronics will begin to malfunction, your GPS will not be able to connect or guide you. If you see something, someone, lurking off the road DO NOT STOP.
